What we offer

Woods Home Inspections prides itself on providing the results of a “general home inspection” in a report that is easy to follow and understand.   A general home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property.  The inspection is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by the State of Washington standards of practice for home inspectors.

For additional quality and to aid in visualization we reserve the right to use thermal imaging wherever we feel it will provide more detailed information.  For the general home inspection, Infrared thermography has proven to be a useful tool.  It has detected anomalies at electrical panels, confirmed proper, and sometimes the improper function of heating systems.  If, at the time of the inspection, moisture accumulation has produced a detectable temperature difference at the surface of the evaluated area—even its presence can be confirmed by telling us where to place the moisture meter for confirmation.  Limitations of thermography can found here.

Pricing is based upon age of the home or condominium, square footage, and a traveling fee if outside of whatcom and skagit county.  Please contact us for a precise quote, we make sure that our reports represent great value in this very competitive location.
